UPDATE & CLARIFICATION
last time around, we heard there was some confusion getting into the track, due to
lack of signage at the main gate (which was closed), and also some people new to
Lebanon Valley didn't know where concessions, restrooms, etc were.
sorry for any confusion, these pics i made should clarify the DriftFaction format.
- due to our track location and pit area, the main gate will be closed during DriftFaction events.
- the secondary gate a few hundred feet down the road is the entrance for all drivers and spectators
- entry fees and tech inspection will all be handled at the box office on the backside of the dirt track.
and here's a closeup of the spectator / drift track area
- we're making progress to get trailers and motorhomes moved for a broader spectator view
- shiny, new, clean restrooms will once again be open
- the track concessions stand will once again be open. burgers and chilidogs mmmm mm
- the grandstands will once again be open for a birds-eye view of the track
- drivers will be staging right through spectator area, so everyone will be right in with the cars
- once again, drifting ride-alongs are encouraged! two heads are better than one
AWESOME STUFF SUMMARY
drivers at this event will be getting an extra hour of drifting vs. the May event,
and we'll be going all the way until the sun is down (and hopefully a little past again)
- prices are all the same - 60 bones for a ton of seat time. BANG FOR YOUR BUCK
- location is the same - same place, in parking lot
- more seat time - we will start drifting an hour earlier, and going just as late
pre-registration is already open and we're halfway to the maximum driver capacity
let's make this a good turnout, this is the last event until august
way better spectator environment, AND an extra hour of drifting. tell all your friends! _________________

FINAL UPDATE -------------------------------
All right, we both know that weather.com has gotten half its hits from us over the past few days.
This event will be rain or shine. DriftFaction will have it's new booth (beta test) set up, stocked with
t-shirts, stickers, flyers, cool people, and dry conditions.
There are going to be 3 drivers' groups once again
Groups A and B will have drivers will have 10-15 people per group, and group S will have
any SO-RAD competitors that arrive. We will have two sets of half hour get-to-know-ya heats
early in the day, then break for some tandem action and SO-RAD mini-comp (if possible) and
then all drivers will have fortyfive minute heats later in the day.
The track is once again being rented up until 3pm. We were told gates would be ready
at 2, but i don't really buy it, and if their gate isn't ready, they'll keep you waiting outside
for as long as it takes them to get their shit together. Therewith, I encourage you not
to arrive too early, because the gate is beyond our control. Also tech is being performed by
track officials UPON ARRIVAL at any time, so you're not gonna miss tech and not be allowed
to drive or any bullshit like that.
I would aim for 3pm arrival everyone.
T-SHIRTS & STICKERS -------------------------------
That's right. All pre-reg'd drivers will receive a T and a sticker to do with what they wish.
Hopefully wear on the body, and stick on the car. But it's really up to you.
All drivers will have to report to the DF booth to collect your merch. First come, first served.
We're tight on T's, but there should be a few extra stickers. Anything extra will get
thrown out to familiar faces / motivated spectators.
SCHEDULE -------------------------------
Tech: at gate, upon arrival
Drifting:
A - 4:00 - 4:30
B - 4:30 - 5:00
S - 5:00 - 5:30
A - 5:30 - 6:00
B - 6:00 - 6:30
S - 6:30 - 7:00
Shout-outs and Tandem Runs/Mini-Comp
7:00 - 7:30
A - 7:30 - 8:15
B - 8:15 - 9:00
S - 9:00 - 9:30
LATE REG -------------------------------
All late-registration drivers will have to check in at the DF booth after tech.
You won't be able to run without a class assignment, which are handled by us, not the track.
Sooner you come see us (bring the car over, too), the sooner we'll get you driving. _________________
